What is ZipSendr?


ZipSendr is uber for "stuff". Anything a business, firm, store, guy or gal wants to send or have picked up for same-day delivery, can be scheduled through ZipSendr. ZipSendr puts senders and receivers together through technology, with a sprinter (driver) who does the running around. We just help make life easier by bringing everyone together on one platform. For more information check out the home page and the other three pages depending on if you are an individual, Business to Business or Business to Consumer small business.




What items can ZipSendr deliver?


ZipSendr can deliver any item that a typical person can carry and put in their car. So usually items up to 50 lbs., no longer than 40 inches and no taller than 24 inches. However, ZipSendr CANNOT deliver: - People or animals (we are not Uber or Zoober) - Alcohol (or any other goods that require age verification and/or a license to transport) - illegal items...obviously! - Dangerous items like weapons, explosives, flammables, and anything else that may go "boom", "baam", or "kablooie"! - Stolen goods (We can't believe we even have to list this) - Any item you don't have permission to send (Oh come on!)




What are the hours of operation?


ZipSendr is not an early-early riser but we do get started at 8:00 AM for our first pickups. We accept our final pickups for the day at 6:00 PM so we can ensure the items get delivered before people start going to bed at 9:00 PM. Currently we do not operate on weekends. However, if you really...really want to send something just ask! Maybe we can make an exception.




What is a zipment?


A zipment is a cute play on the words "ZipSendr" and "shipment" equals "Zip-ment"




Is using ZipSendr safe?


Yes, ZipSendr is safe and dependable, as well as fast and convenient. Everything you expect from a friend and more. Also, each of our sprinters (drivers) pass rigorous screening and training which include: - Nationwide Background Check
- Motor Vehicle Records Check
- Driver's License, Insurance, and Registration Check
- Driving History Check ZipSendr also ensures that all drivers are adequately Insured in case of an accident. Customers can even rate their sprinters which gives a crowd-sourced view of how careful, honest, and polite our Sprinters are.




Who delivers for ZipSendr?


ZipSendr uses the neighborhood community to make deliveries. It could be your neighbor, co-worker, or friend, who is just looking to make a little extra money by delivering a few things around the neighborhood. We partner with people from all walks of life including retirees, college students, stay-at-home moms & dads, and maybe even a race car driver here-and-there. Anyone who can help ZipSendr make a positive impact in the community can be a sprinter for us, as long as they pass a few tests.




Can restaurants and other food businesses use ZipSendr?


At ZipSendr, we hire good sprinters (drivers), but sometimes they get hungry, and so we don't trust them to transport food. But, every once in a while, we will make an exception, but we don't make it a priority.




Do you deliver on holidays?


Yes, we do deliver on Holidays. However, there will be holiday surcharges and holiday rates in addition to the regular prices. Surcharges apply to holiday. However, currently we do not deliver on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.




Do I have to be a business to use ZipSendr?


No, anyone can use ZipSendr. Just create an account and get sending.





Pickup & Delivery

What is the max size and weight a delivery can be?


Though our sprinters are young and healthy, we'd like to keep them that way, so please don't send anything more than 50 lbs.
Also, our sprinters use cars to make the deliveries. So whatever you plan on sending make sure it can fit in a car. If you have a doubt, feel free to reach out to us to ask what we think.




What can ZipSendr NOT deliver?


ZipSendr CANNOT deliver: - People or animals (we are not Uber or Zoober) - Alcohol (or any other goods that require age verification and/or a license to transport) - illegal items...obviously! - Dangerous items like weapons, explosives, flammables, and anything else that may go "boom", "baam", or "kablooie"! - Stolen goods (We can't believe we even have to list this) - Any item you don't have permission to send (Oh come on!)




How does ZipSendr work?


After scheduling, orders beamed to thousands of sprinters across the city. One of those brave drivers will take on the challenge of picking up the items and safely transporting it to the destination. The sprinter (driver) will even get the recipient sign his/her phone to prove the delivery was made. And if you want, they can even take a picture of the recipient holding the item.




How far does ZipSendr deliver?


Our sprinters "drivers", like the neighborhoods they live in and don't like wandering too far. So we deliver up to 40 miles from Atlanta metro.




How long does it take ZipSendr to deliver?


ZipSendr can pickup as early as 60 minutes from the time the order is created and can be delivered as fast as traffice and weather condtions allow. Typically, with no, traffic, rain, sleet, snow, or farm animals running around on the highway, it will take a sprinter a maximum of 3 hours to pickup and deliver an item(s). However, if it does take longer than 3 hours, we reserve the right to blame it on the traffic, rain, sleet, snow, or animals running around on the highway. Now seriously, we will be adding ASAP rush delivery to our services soon. This will tell the sprinter to drop everything they are doing and go work on this order. ASAP typically gets delivered within 1 hour depending on distance and the number of animals there are on the road at the time.




How does ZipSendr guarantee safe and reliable delivery?


ZipSendr provides real-time tracking so you can see exactly where your sprinter is, once he/she starts his/her route. We can also get autographs from the receiver, as well as, take a selfie with them to show we really did make the delivery. You tell us how we can prove we made the delivery and we will do it. We also ensure that we partner with good people to make the deliveries and offer loss or damage coverage for the items that are being sent.




How do I make a change to a delivery order once it's been scheduled?


UhOh! Sorry, it's too late. Just kidding. Once your order is scheduled, you have 2 options depending on what needs to change. You can reach out to the sprinter (driver) that is assigned and on the way by clicking on the Phone or Messaging icon on the tracking page. If there is something that the sprinter can't take care of, feel free to email us at orders@zipsendr.com with any issues. Please make sure you include the order number and destination name so we can verify the information. Or you can start a chat session from our website. www.zipsendr.com




Can I cancel and order once it's been scheduled?


Cancelling orders depends on whether the sprinter (driver) has started or picked up your order. Cancellations and re-direct requests may be subject to additional fees. If you need to cancel or redirect an order please reach out to customer service ASAP via orders@zipsendr.com or by chat form on the home page. We will do our best to make this happen. But, it all depends on the status and location of the driver.




How do I track my order?


If you schedueld the order, just go to your account and "My Orders" tab and select the order you want to track.




Do my items need to be packed or wrapped?


Well, that depends on what you are sending and how easy the items are to identify. The driver should be able to identify which items need to be delivered to which associated location you have entered. Especially if you have multiple items going to different addresses. We try to be very careful with items so they don't need to be packed like you would if sent by UPS, FedEx, or USPS, because we don't throw or kick our packages (we've heard a few rumors, not sure if they're true). By all means, if you want to make your packages all pretty then feel free to gift wrap them or box them up, whatever you feel comfortable doing. ZipSendr helps reduce the amount of wasted corrugated boxes and packaging by delivering safely and directly to the consumer with minimum handeling. It's the "Green" way of doing business in 2020




How far ahead can I schedule and order?


Good question. Right now, we can schedule a pickup as early as within 90 minutes and can be scheduled out up to 5 days. We pickup as early as 9am and our latest pickup time for now is 6:00 PM Monday thru Friday.

Account Info

How do I save a credit card to my account?


In order to add a credit card to your account for future use, you have to process an initial order. When you get to the payment page you will be prompted to save the card information for future use. There you go...easy!





Merchants

Do I have to be a business to use ZipSendr?


No, anyone can use ZipSendr. Just create an account and get sending.




Do I have the option to setup "Inovice billing"?


Yes, this is something we can do for our merchant partners. If you are interested in setting up invoice billing for your buisiness or firm, please send an email to merchant@zipsendr.com for more information.
